Sherlook uses essential cookies for sign-in and language. Theme and temporary photo data are held in browser storage.
Essential cookies
- Session cookie (ahmlock_session): keeps you signed in for 1 or 30 days. It is HttpOnly, SameSite=Lax and Secure in production.
- Language cookie (SHERLOOK_LOCALE): remembers your language for one year.
Browser storage
Your theme choice is kept in local storage. A selected photo can remain briefly in IndexedDB during navigation to search and is removed when retrieved. These browser records are not server cookies.
Payment and third parties
Stripe’s checkout may set its own necessary cookies. Sherlook does not integrate Google Analytics or Meta Pixel, and we do not add advertising tracking cookies.
How to manage them
You can clear or block cookies and site storage in your browser settings. Blocking the essential session cookie prevents signed-in features from working.
