Privacy Policy
A face photo is sensitive personal data. This page explains what we process, who receives it and how to request deletion.
Data we hold
- For accounts: email, name, password hash and session records; never plaintext passwords.
- For reports: search time, selected provider, source links, similarity scores and returned preview links.
- For payments: amount, currency, search-right transactions and Stripe identifiers. Card details go directly to Stripe.
- Your name, email and message if you use the contact form.
Where the photo goes
During the demo, the photo stays in your browser. It can be placed briefly in browser IndexedDB for navigation and removed when retrieved. With your explicit consent to a live search, it passes through our server to the active provider: Lenso.ai, FaceCheck.ID or Search4Faces. We do not store the photo file on our server or in report records. The provider’s own handling rules also apply.
How long we retain data
The photo is processed transiently during a search and is not saved in our database. Reports and search history remain linked to your account until a deletion request is processed. Account and contact records remain while needed for service and support; payment records remain for required accounting periods. The session cookie lasts one or thirty days according to your choice.
Your rights and requests
Live face search requires your explicit consent; you can withhold it for future searches. Send requests for access, correction, deletion or objection through the contact page. Legal retention duties may limit deletion of some records.
